Bet-at-home is a well-established bookmaker, with a vast presence in Central Europe since 1999. The acquisition of the brand from the Betclic group brought the opening to the UK market and now it has a strong footprint on the most strategic regulated markets. That doesn’t mean of course that we are in awe with the Austrian sportsbook. The site is a little bit outdated, but at least the mobile apps are functional. I find the odds on the top leagues just likable, they are better than Bwin’s, but worse than Bet365’s. The extra features (Multiway bet, 1-click bet) give the players a better betting experience and the fact you can try out the sportsbook before you register is innovative. On the downsides, the low overall payout compared to the competition, the fees on withdrawals and the 10-second bet acceptance on live betting, make me have second thoughts. Bet-at-home is a mediocre second rate sportsbook that hasn’t improved a lot throughout the years. However, it is classified as a stable and safe bookmaker to place your bets.

Bet-at-home.com Review

Bet-at-home is among the oldest bookmakers in Europe, operating online since 1999. The bookmaker comes with an Austrian background and since 2006 is part of the BetClic Everest SAS Group. The brand holds a Maltese license for Bet-at-home.com and a UKGC for Bet-at-home UK edition. The sports betting platform is proprietary and comes with interesting features like Bet Builder, Live Streaming, Cash out and 1-click bet. Bet-at-home has invested in strong partnerships, especially in German-speaking countries, acting as the official sponsor to the top-flight football clubs Schalke FC, Austria Wien and Red Bull Salzburg.

Bet-at-home bookmaker provides 35,000 monthly events and over 50 sports throughout the season. The overall sports betting payout is set at 93; high-profile football leagues come with odds 94%+ and minor competitions range between 89% and 91%. Basketball and tennis offer an average margin of 6-7% and many alternative handicaps in line. Players can enjoy over 120 alternative bets on all the premium leagues and 70+ on the lower ones, but Asian handicaps are missing.

Bettors can wager on a wide range of special bets, novelties, politics and outrights, but horse racing is absent. Regarding extra features, the ones which stand out are Multiway bet, also known as Build A Bet and the Guest Login. The first allows players to create combos from the same event, while the second gives them the chance to try out the sportsbook without creating an account or risking real money.

The Bet-at-home live betting section has a below-par payout of 91%+, but that rate will go up to 93%+ on premier leagues like EPL and La Liga. In-play coverage includes all the popular sports and many niche ones, such as Darts, Sailing and Pesapallo. Football punters can place their bets on 30+ extra bets, like cards, Next Team to Score and Total Goals. A Bet-at-home live streaming service is available only to minor sports and esports, while cashout is also here up to the latest stages of each event. The bet acceptance is at 10 seconds, but Quickbet will cut this time in half.

Bet-at-home has high standards when it comes to mobile, payments and customer service. Smartphone enthusiasts will find dedicated apps for Android and iOS, along with a quick and responsive mobile site. Bet-at-home offers a large number of deposit and withdrawal options. Apart from the standard methods, the bookmaker accepts payments via Trustly, Sofort, Giropay and EPS. Paypal is also available but not for German players. Withdrawals are completed within 24 hours but note that only two free payouts/month are allowed for Skrill and three for Trustly and Bank Transfer. The Bet-at-Home support is available through email, telephone and live chat from 07:30 - 22:30.
