A Bit About Fotis

Bookmakers.bet began back in 2016 as a small experiment, an idea I wanted to test after spending years inside the online gambling world. The project turned out to be very successful, but the industry keeps evolving, and so do we. That’s why we’re now building Bookmakers V2 with a clear ambition to create the best international sports betting community out there. I’ve been involved in online gaming for more than 20 years, seeing the industry from every possible angle, from betting and casino portals to online operators and iGaming tech projects. My journey has taken me through the UK, Malta, and Cyprus, working with major names such as Betfair, 1xBet, Dafabet, the Asian broker Samvo, and several others I cannot disclose. Over the years, I’ve helped set up and sell gaming operations and have invested in multiple iGaming ventures. One of my proudest projects is Foxbet.gr, which I launched in 2010. It grew into one of Greece’s leading iGaming portals and continues to thrive 15 years later. All of these experiences shaped my belief that the heart of iGaming isn’t just about odds or bonuses. It’s about community, trust, and shared knowledge. That’s exactly what we’re building at Bookmakers.bet, a space where players and fans from around the world can connect, learn, and enjoy the game together.
