After a nearly three-year absence, Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler in UFC 303 on June 30th. UFC president Dana White announced the clash, which will take place at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas during International Fight Week. Interestingly, even though it was originally thought to take place in middleweight, the fight will be welterweight.
What Are the Current McGregor vs Chandler Odds?
Early predictions for the fight are tough since both opponents have not competed for a long time. Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) has not been in the ring since 2022, when he lost to Poirier at UFC 281. On the other hand, McGregor's last dance was in 2021, when he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier as well (UFC 264). The current odds at Stake.com stand as follows:
⏩ McGregor to win @1.88
⏩ Chandler to win @1.93
As you can see, the scales are pretty balanced, and you can expect to find additional markets as the fight comes closer. In any case, everyone was expecting that both these fighters would return to action to compete against each other, mainly due to the fact that they were both coaches in the Ultimate Fighter event in 2023.
