Betsson Acquired Majority Share of KickerTech B2B Supplier

Betsson expanded its B2B sportsbook capabilities by acquiring a majority 80% share of KickerTech Malta at the price of €14m. The investment was made in conjunction with Betsson's Q3 earnings report, which saw the Stockholm-listed online gaming company announce that its in-house sportsbook portfolio had exceeded period bets by +€1 billion.

What to Expect from Betsson - KickerTech Acquisition?

The purchase of KickerTech has been agreed upon with TG Holdings in order to support the growth of Betsson's B2B sportsbook operations and trading capabilities. A team of 50 software experts working for KickerTech creates advanced odds models, trading systems, and sportsbook services.

Three payments will be made for the transaction: an initial cash payment of €6m, followed by two additional cash instalments of €4m, each spread over a six-to-twelve-month period. The existing resources of Betsson will be used to finance the all-cash acquisition.
