1xBet Group has signed a Trademark License Agreement with TonyBet, which has a valid license issued by the UKGC. The agreement allowed TonyBet to obtain the 1xBet UK trademark from the 1xBet Group and gain the exclusive rights to operate the trademark all across Great Britain. Moreover, TonyBet will be allowed to develop fully UKGC-compliant products and services for its newly acquired 1xBet trademark in the near future.

Tonybet to Operate 1xBet Assets in the UK

It is worth noting that, as part of this agreement, the 1xBet Group will cease its operations in the United Kingdom and will stop offering its services to British players. A 1xBet spokesperson stated that, despite the company’s ambition to continue its international expansion, the United Kingdom is not considered a key market for them at this point in time. He added though that they are very pleased with the deal they made with TonyBet and stated that it was the right decision to sell the 1xBet UK brand to them; since they are a locally regulated brand that can benefit from the owning of the UK trademark of a globally acclaimed gaming group.

Furthermore, a TonyBet spokesperson said that they are very excited about the deal they have made regarding the acquisition of the trademark of one of the fastest-growing gaming companies in the world. He also stated that they are planning to launch products and services under the 1xBet United Kingdom trademark in line with the Gambling Commission’s regulations.
