15 Feb 2017

Catena MediaCatena Media tries to expand their business more and more and they made another significant movement towards this direction. They have agreed to acquire Swedish online casino portal Slotsia.com for a maximum consideration of €5 million. The previous days the investors of the company were updated, and Catena’s governance told that this acquisition has as an aim to get powerfully on the Swedish market and it had paid €3.5 million cash upfront to acquire Slotsia.com and all its related assets. Moreover, Catena governance has enhanced the deal to a total amount of €5 million by attaching a two-year performance related enhancement.

Catena’s CEO, Mr Robert Andersson commented about the deal that was done between the two sides: «Slotsia.com would form an integral part to the firm’s growing gaming/betting affiliate marketing portfolio, as Catena seeks to become the outright market leader in industry player acquisition.». Nonetheless, the next few years will be very critical about Catena’s move, but for sure they have done well until now in extending and expanding their portfolio.
