The online gaming giant Entain, the owner of brands like Interwetten, has won the Advanced Safer Gambling Standard award by GamCare for providing players with multiple layers of protection, adhering to the organisation's high standards. The Safer Gambling Standard assesses whether bookmakers practise measures for ensuring that members will not experience harm related to gambling.
Entain Group is the largest operator to be awarded the highest level of accreditation (Advanced Level 3) for its online activities and Advanced Level 2 for its land-based activities, showing that the Group is dedicated to providing a safe gambling environment.

Entain was evaluated in 10 different areas to win the award and had to pass 58 other criteria, like safer gambling strategy, policies, procedures and controls, interviews with employees, and reviews and went beyond the online aspect as it also assessed land-based operations.
