The state-owned gaming operator in Finland, Veikkaus, has agreed on a double partnership with the Football Association of Finland (SPL) and the country’s top-tier division, the Veikkausliiga. The three-year plan has the bookmaker backing the clubs financially in these competitions when, in return, the teams will give exposure to the betting products of the government-run company. Moreover, Veikkaus players will have exclusive access to benefits and gifts related to the Finnish national team.
How will Veikkaus Support Local Football?
CEO of Veikkaus, Olli Sarekoski, commented: ''We are really pleased that the long joint history of Veikkaus and domestic football continues and deepens. Finnish football is in full swing, and I see that together, we can offer Finns great feelings and experiences about the royal sport.
