The state-owned gaming operator in Finland, Veikkaus, has agreed on a double partnership with the Football Association of Finland (SPL) and the country’s top-tier division, the Veikkausliiga. The three-year plan has the bookmaker backing the clubs financially in these competitions when in return, the teams will give exposure to the betting products of the government-run company. Moreover, Veikkaus players will have exclusive access to benefits and gifts related to the Finnish national team.

The sport plays an important role and it is great that the agreements cover Finnish football so widely.”
