New deal for Intralot

13 Dec 2016

IntralotIntralot seems extra kinetic over the last months and just a few days ago completed a new very important deal. They have extended a lottery gaming system services agreement with the Idaho Lottery in the US. The deal between the two sides will be valid for 10 years, it will begin on October of 2017 and it will be concluded on the September of 2027. Moreover, there will be an option to extend for up to a maximum of two additional five-year terms. This system is going to handle, manage and proceed all the in-state and multi-state draw games. Furthermore, it will manage the inventory control and logistics for the full complement of scratch games and many other things. As it was known from the official sources, the whole agreement is valued at $60 million (€56.5 million).

The interim chief executive of Intralot and chief operating officer, Nikos Nikolakopoulos, commented on the deal: “We are happy and honoured to have submitted the most competitive offer. We have the opportunity to continue to provide our services to our valued client. We are looking forward to build further on our experience and our trusted relation by means of enhanced products and services offering that meets the modern era needs of the Idaho Lottery. Additionally it will help our client generate stronger returns for the good causes it supports while promoting and serving the principles of responsible gaming.”.
