Βetsson enters Kenya’s betting market

4 Dec 2020

Sportsbook Xmas PresentsThe Swedish bookmaker Betsson enters the Kenyan betting market via its Betsafe brand, which will be operated by the local company Bet High. The Kenyan firm is licensed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board.

Players will have an array of payment options in their hands making the wagering enjoyable. Bettors can place their stakes through the bookie’s website or via SMS messaging. Furthermore, Betsson’s entrance in Kenya will also create new jobs; with the plan being to appoint more than 150 people locally within the next two years. It is also worth mentioning that the operator has set as a goal to keep an eye on the local football talents allowing them to develop and nurture.

Bet High’s acting managing director, Alex Kobia, celebrated the news by stating: “Our Responsible gaming program is unlike any other in this market with the safety of the Kenyan sports betting fans in mind. Our online site contains unique control and safety features directly on the site. Our communication will initially be focused on responsible gaming messages and we will furthermore support Gamehelp, an organisation that supports Kenyans with gaming problem behavior. We are also the first gaming company to hire a Responsible Gaming Officer who will be dedicated to pursue and improve us in this area.”

BOOK SPY BONUS REVIEW

Betsson is one of the industry leaders in Scandinavia. The brand keeps walking down the road of legitimacy and legality after all the Betsson Group is listed on the stock exchange and transparency is always the target. The in house platform is quick and easy to use, both on mobile and desktop and product-wise, there are only a few black marks. Odds on secondary leagues are short, the brand tends to cut winners fast, while the stake limits on the events are mainly low. On the other hand, I like the odds on the top leagues, which can challenge those of Bet365 and are better than Bwin’s. Live streaming and the whole live betting section are a state of the art, while the quick withdrawals give an extra boost to the recreational bettors looking for a safe and legit bookie
