22Bet decided to cease its operations in the UK

22bet-ukThe renowned sports betting operator 22Bet has decided to completely cease its operations in the United Kingdom as of October 13, 2020.

All of its players that reside in Great Britain, are kindly requested to withdraw the funds from their accounts as soon as possible by contacting the customer support department via the email [email protected] The deadline for doing so is October 12, 2020. Those who fail to proceed accordingly, will see their accounts getting closed, without having the opportunity to withdraw their remaining balance.

Those who do not wish to withdraw their remaining funds for their own personal reasons, are simply requested to send an email to [email protected] and write the phrase “I consent that my account will be closed in favor of the company”.

It is worth noting that 22Bet is not the only popular international bookmaker that decided to exit the British market recently. 1xBet has announced that it stopped operating in the UK, following the acquisition of its trademark by TonyBet in late July.
