Interwetten’s Dominic Beier leaves role

dominic beierDominic Beier has stepped down from his position as Interwetten Sports’ Speaker of the Board. The 29-year-old had joined the company in 2018, replacing Werner Becher. To site his own words, Mr. Beier wrote on his LinkedIn account:

“It’s been 2 great years at Interwetten Group. We have delivered, two times in a row, record revenues (2019 and 2020), increased profitability, modernized the processes, gave the company a new communication strategy, lifted the product back to the top, and all that during hard times for the industry as well as big challenges for the whole society. Thanks to all employees, the management team, suppliers, partners as well as all other companions and supporters for the very inspiring and successful time together. Now it’s time to take on the next challenge.”.

Having started his career at the Austrian-based streaming platform Laola1 in 2011, he later joined Sportradar in 2016, reaching the position of Global Head of Sponsorship & Advertising sales and being one of the youngest top-notch executives in the business.

After his two successful years with Interwetten, he said that they hold ‘different views on how to develop and position the company’, subsequently leading to a common decision of separating their paths.
