Vbet lands AS Monaco sponsorship deal

25 Aug 2020

monaco vbetOnline sportsbook and casino operator Vbet will be sponsoring French Ligue 1 powerhouse AS Monaco. The deal includes seasons 2020-2021 (which just started) and 2021-2022. The company logo will be featured on the players’ shorts and will be the club’s official betting partner.

It comes just one year after the operator entered the French market and appointed French football legend Youri Djorkaeff as their brand ambassador. Vice president and CEO of the Monegasques, Oleg Petrov, said: “We are very happy to establish this partnership with VBET, a very dynamic and essential player in its sector. AS Monaco and VBET are now linked by a common interest and passion, football, but also and above all, by the same spirit of conquest, innovation and a strong desire to establish themselves in very competitive markets. We look forward to starting this partnership. I welcome VBET to the AS Monaco family.”.

On his side, Vigen Badalyan, CEO and founder of Vbet, added: “We are proud of this long-term partnership agreement with AS Monaco, which undoubtedly marks a major milestone in the history of VBET. Let's move forward together, towards victory.”.

The agreement marks yet another important deal for the BetConstruct-owned company, just days after announcing it will be the title sponsor of the Armenian football Premier League.

In 2003, when everything began through Vivaro, Armenia and the CIS countries were the ones targeted by the management team. Vbet was mostly a product testing bookmaker for Betconstruct’s solution. Although Vbet has been online since 2008, the last two years it has finally been improving its international presence by acquiring a license in the UK and in France. The management informed me that the brand is about to enter more white markets soon. The multi-licensed bookmaker has been rapidly upgrading its product recently. I like the wide range of sports and extra markets at football, along with the many alternative payment systems. I also like that Vbet invests in localization, giving the local players the best possible experience. Regarding the cons, the low max stake on minor events and the late settlements, the mediocre odds on almost every sport and the quick limiting, hold the brand back. Vbet is a reliable bookmaker and an ok alternative to a fun player. If you are a sharp player, you should not be surprised by the quick limit cuts.
