William Hill signed a new sports betting partnership with the NBA and became the official bookmaker of the best basketball league in the world.
With this agreement William Hill will be permitted to use the official NBA betting data and league marks in its website and mobile platform throughout the US. Furthermore, the popular operator will be promoted across the NBA’s official website, mobile app and social media platforms.
It is worth noting that William Hill is operating within 10 US states in total, including Nevada, Iowa and Indiana and that it also signed a similar betting partnership with the NHL in March.
The deal between William Hill and the NBA is the latest of the league’s betting partnerships, since it has already signed similar agreements with The Stars Group and with MGM Resorts International during last year. Additionally, the NBA has same partnerships with Genius Sports and Sportradar.
The Vice President of Strategy and Business Development of William Hill in the US, Dan Shapiro, stated that they are very proud of this new partnership that will be promoting legalised betting on NBA games and will be proven beneficial for both the bettors and the operator’s stateside partners. He also said that the NBA has a leading role in recognizing the advantages of a fully legal sports betting market and they expect that this will be just the beginning of a long, prosperous and constructive relationship for both sides.
