Interwetten signs sponsorship with Greek Super League

6 Nov 2019

The popular online bookmaker Interwetten has announced the signing of a sponsorship deal with the Greek Super League, which is the top tier football league in Greece. The Austrian operator becomes the league’s official sports betting partner for the current season, in an attempt to strengthen even more its position in the Greek market.

Interwetten’s brand name will be appearing on LED boards, on flash interview boards, on micro-surfaces at press conferences and on ball platforms in every stadium as well as in other locations. At the same time, the operator will manage to take advantage of the digital integrations with the Greek Super League channels and a specific hospitality package for every match of the league.

This announcement follows the news of the main sponsorship deal that was signed between Interwetten and the Greek Super League team Asteras Tripolis in August.

Interwetten expressed its confidence that the partnership will help it generate a stronger presence in the market and gain new fans from every Super League team.

More specifically, the Speaker of the Board at Interwetten, Dominik Beier, stated that Greece is and will keep on being a very important market for them and this is the reason why they want to continue investing in the sport and expand their position within the country. He also said that the Super League is an ideal partner that opens up a plethora of communication and activation opportunities for them throughout Greece.

BOOK SPY BONUS REVIEW

Interwetten has been around since 1990 and online since 1997, so it has been rightfully named as the “grandfather of online betting”. The vast presence of the brand in 70+ countries and their 30+ years of stability in the betting world do the talk. Truth is that IW was one of the most slow-moving companies for many years, but this has changed after the new CEO Dominik Beier took over. Still, the odds are usually shorter compared to other leading bookmakers and the betting limits are mediocre. I want to see them adding trending features like Bet Builder or Auto Cashout, removing the withdrawal fees and of course adding live chat. On the other hand, I like the offered promotions and the really cool loyalty program, the high odds on favourites, and the quick payout. Also, the site is extremely simple and easy to use, therefore they have a big 35+ customer base. Interwetten is a top choice if you prefer to bet on football, tennis or motorsports, or you are a favourites punter.
