FC Barcelona and 1XBet have signed a five-year sponsorship deal according to which the well-known operator is the new global partner of the Blaugrana, as it was officially announced by the club on Wednesday. The deal actually came into effect on the 1st of July and will last at least until the 30th of June 2024.
That multi-year agreement between the two sides is part of Barca’s global expansion plans and is also connected to its aspiration to find the best partners in various fields. Those partners will help the club keep its leading position both on the pitch and in terms of marketing and athletic sponsorship.
It is worth noting that 1XBet and FC Barcelona have agreed to work jointly on a wide range of assets that will be including access to the players’ data in order to create innovative marketing campaigns and promotional merchandise.
Joseph Pont, who is responsible for the club’s Commercial Area, stated that he is certain that this deal with 1XBet will help his team grow on and off the football field. He also said that the aforementioned deal reinforces Barca’s global expansion strategy, which is underway, and that it will help them gain new fans from all around the world.
Alex Sommers, affiliate marketing director of 1XBet, added that he is very pleased that they have managed to reach such an important agreement with one of the best football teams in the world and that his company has something special to offer to all Barca’s fans. He also mentioned that the association of these two world-class brands, will be proven profitable for both sides. Furthermore, he said that since Barcelona’s slogan is “Mes que un club” (More than a club), he hopes that over the next five seasons the fans will realize that 1XBet is more than just a bookmaker.
