Bwin has been officially announced as the main sponsor of the Spanish football team Valencia, in a deal that will come into effect from today and will last for the next three seasons at least.
The La Liga football club was first sponsored by GVC-owned Bwin back in the 2016-17 season and now both sides decided to expand their deal; meaning that the well-known operator will remain the team’s front of shirt sponsor.
The deal covers both the first team and the club’s reserve squad, VCF Mestalla, in all the domestic and European competitions in which it takes place; namely, La Liga, Copa Del Rey and the Champions or Europa League.
The president of Valencia CF, Anil Murthy, stated that his team shares the same virtues as Bwin and that by strengthening their alliance both parties will be hugely benefited. He also confirmed that apart from being Valencia’s shirt sponsor, the Bwin brand will have the highest visibility ever across the team’s Mestalla Stadium and training facilities.
It is worth noting that Bwin is not the first operator that was confirmed as a La Liga team official sponsor during the past few days, as Marathonbet has already landed a two-year deal with Sevilla FC.
