A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Sportradar and Egypt National Anti-Doping Organization that solidifies the cooperation between the 2 parties towards battling corruption in sports. The goal of this joining of forces is to make collaboration easier for the 2 sides and to allow for in-depth examinations into matters of policy and integrity of the Anti-Doping Code. CEO of EGY-NADO Dr. Osama Ghoniem referred to this new agreement and did not neglect to stress its importance regarding the quality of information collected from such investigations.
He also stressed how their Anti-Doping program will be elevated thanks to the insights gathered from Sportradar's data which will guide all their future efforts to secure a safe environment for Egyptian sports. What he sees as the ultimate benefit is the mutual sharing of information that will ensure both sides are efficient in the battle against doping and non-compliant sports behavior.
Director Anti-Doping Services of Sportradar Dr. Anja Martin was also enthusiastic that the company will contribute to the fight against such a noteworthy cause helping preserve the highest standards when it comes to Egyptian sports. Dr. Martin also mentioned that the company will also be willing to provide their Anti-Doping specialists to further the cause.
