The Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), which is the territory’s regulatory body established the Consejo Asesor del Juego Responsible (CAJR), which has aims to help with the new regulations, as well as with the management of policies regarding the responsible gaming in Spain.

The new board consists of 25 members, all having great experience in the industry, as they are representatives from some of the biggest gaming suppliers, in the likes of Playtech, Tómbola, and Paf, which is a European online casino platform. Additionally, the newly created board also has members from other fields as well, like social health and welfare, psychology and consumer rights. The head of the board will be Mr. Espinosa García, who also acts as the president of the DGOJ regulatory body. It is noteworthy that the online gaming revenue has been increased by 30% in the country in Q3 of 2018, compared to the same quarter in 2017!
