NBA agrees Sportsradar and Genius sports deal

nbaWhat we all anticipated is now a reality. For the very first time in the National Basketball Association's history, a betting data deal has been signed. The companies having the honor to complete the task of providing the most updated data and statistics for the NBA are Sportsradar and Genius sports. Although the deal is non-exclusive, the two data providers will work closely with the Association. As a result, they will provide official NBA data to licensed sports betting operators in the United States. The two companies revealed that they are going to work closely with the NBA in order to provide the best possible data to licensed gaming operators in the States they operate respectively.

Carsten Koerl, who acts as Chief Executive Officer of Sportradar, commented on the deal; “We are excited to continue working with the NBA on this multi-faceted partnership that now also covers the United States. We have invested in this partnership. It is not only a tremendous opportunity for us but ultimately for the fans of the NBA. With sports betting being so new to the United States, we will look to utilize our vast global experience. Of course, our target is to implement innovative feeds and products to give fans and partners an amazing experience”.
