Celtic “scores” huge extension deal with Dafabet

7 Aug 2018

Celtic FC, the undisputed champions of the Scottish Premiership, have been in a partnership with one of the greatest Asian operators globally, Dafabet and as it was expected their cooperation was extended. The thing that no one could see coming is the magnitude of the deal. It is said to be the biggest ever sponsorship deal, with the two sides extending their partnership for 5 more years! Dafabet is going to be the main shirt sponsor to the Scottish Champions for all these years and it is noteworthy that the current agreement was about to come to an end at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season. Thanks to the extension, the deal is going to run until the season 2024-25.

As it was expected, the satisfaction on the deal extension was more than obvious from both of the sides.  Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell commented on the partnership with one of the greatest Asian operators: “We are absolutely delighted to secure such a lucrative, long-term arrangement with Dafabet, a fantastic partner with whom we have already enjoyed such a great relationship. Celtic is currently in a terrific position on and off the field, achieving regular football success and with an infrastructure of strength and stability. Celtic continues to be one of the world’s great football clubs and through these strong fundamentals we continue to be able to attract and deliver such quality partnerships.”

Although they originally invested only in the Asian market, as they did not offer their services to bettors from other parts of the world, during last years, Dafabet has managed to attract a more diverse audience. However, they are still on a transitional process, so you might find that certain services and markets are limited at the moment. This means that you won’t find a variety of different sports, however their profitable football betting odds can make up for their still developing website. They are one of the giant bookies in Asia while they have recently made their entrance in Europe by offering a fully comprehensive website being on a European layout. Dafa's high betting limits are suitable for high rollers, although unfortunately, they don’t accept many payment options and don’t have a mobile app.
