Paddy Power looking for US market expansion

Paddy Power Betfair Group are one of the most popular bookmakers in the United Kingdom and are planning their newest expansion! Their new plan contains a US entrance as the operator’s governance has expressed their interest in making an arrangement with "Fan Duel". The latter is a renown US-based fantasy sports betting operator.

It is a fact though, that the details of the deal have not been publicly known yet, so we will be patiently waiting to be informed about the cost of the deal and the way the two parts are going to interact in order to benefit from each other. The main reason Paddy Power would like to enter the US market is that sites operating in the daily fantasy sports market are being used by more than 30 million American players. We should remind that the Paddy Power – Betfair Group has already invested 48 million dollars in US operations, like the fantasy sports Draft and the horse racing tv channel, TVG. All the above resulted in a huge 23% revenue in the United Kingdom operator's business, so it is more than expected that they will try to get deeper in the US gambling zone!
