Bet365 to pass the torch to Planetwin365 in Italian market

bet365 planetwin365 Although Bet365's market revenue reached an astounding €95.8 million in July, it seems that they might soon give up their leading role in the Italian market. According to Ficom Leisure (leading gaming sector advisory firm), the betting giant now has a strong competitor, since Planetwin365 has managed to close the gap last month.

Planetwin365 has stronger retail presence compared to Bet365, however the British bookie still managed to retain their 20.6% share in the local market. Total gross gaming revenues from the dot.it market increased up to 6% on the prior month and reached €95.8m in July.

In online casino, PokerStars remains the sole the leader, an impressive feat, given that they launched their Italian platform only during the last two years.

Lottomatica and Sisal are hot on PokerStars heels, however it seems unlikely that they will manage to claim the top spot.
