The betting industry has once again positively shaken sports fans across the globe with two new deals that were completed just before the start of the new season.
Firstly, Marathonbet gets deeper into the Russian market having signed a sponsorship with Dynamo Moscow who were recently promoted to the Russian Premier League. The agreement will last three years and will offer increased exposure to Marathonbet at Dynamo’s home ground and training center. The logo of the company will also be visible on the back of the team’s jersey.
Ekaterina Zemskova, Marathonbet Russian market representative said: “Dynamo Moscow is a club with great history – it is the first Soviet champion & first Soviet Cup winner. It is a brand recognized all over the world. I am confident that together we will achieve excellent results. We have been partnering with sports clubs for a long time, with a portfolio now including Manchester United, Malaga and Hibernian. We are pleased to have such a prominent club as Dynamo joining these names. We are thankful for the perfectly organised negotiations process.”
Dynamo Moscow’s General Director, Yevgeniy Muravyov added: “Sponsorship is an important part of the club’s make-up and we are therefore glad that our search has ended with a partnership with Marathonbet, a leader in the betting sector and one that is confident and optimistic about the future. We share our partner’s goals and values in fair play and great customer experiences.”
Unibet sponsors Australia Supercars
Another important deal that was also completed includes Unibet and Virgin Australia Supercars Championship for the next two years.
The Australian bookmaker will be featured at live supercar events, on consumer targeted promotions. The two sides will also work on developing digital contests and will focus on insiders’ knowledge of the sport and racing related statistics.
Julian Timmins, Unibet’s Head of Marketing & Operations said after the agreement: “Unibet Australia is looking forward to working with Supercars to ensure fans are as well informed as possible when watching and betting on their favourite teams and drivers. We see Supercars as a fantastic platform to engage with and inform punters.”
Matt Braid, Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Managing Director added about the deal: “The high quality, intense competition of our sport delivers excitement to millions of passionate fans which make Supercars the ideal partner for Unibet.”
