GVC Holdings have decided to exit the Czech market, following their recent withdrawal of their licensing application for subsidiary, PartyPoker.
According to an announcement on their affiliates, GVC representatives have declared that the current gaming laws of the Czech Republic are “incompatible with the principles of the European Union”.
GVC Holding are one of the key European iGaming operators and possess a broad network of sportsbook & gaming brands, including:

- Partypoker, Partycasino, Casinoclub, Gioco Digitale, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Casino
Additionally, they operate B2B services for gaming operators in Denmark, Turkey, USA & France.
A number of sportsbook operators, including local Fortuna Entertainment and Synot Group have claimed that the current tax structure is financially unviable and breaches the laws of the EU.
