One of the most widely known lotteries in Europe, Multilotto, is ready to make a passage to the Irish market. Just a few days ago it was announced that the European lottery betting operator has been granted a remote gaming licence by the Republic of Ireland National Excise Licence Office and is about to get operational really soon. Multilotto was established in 2012 and the provider currently offers consumers access to 11 different international lottery jackpots. The aim of this move is to get a further international expansion, after the great success the operator saw in the Nordic market and the new license is going to play a key role at this. The announcement follows the granting of a Class 1 on 4 remote gaming licence by the Malta Gaming Authority in March.
Thomas Biro, who is the Chief Executive of Multilotto, commented on the new license the operator was granted: «Our business model is well established in the Nordic region and we believe that Irish customers will be equally attracted to our offering. 2017 is proving to be a big year for us and we look forward to making several more major announcements in the coming months.».
