Scientific Games completed the Spicerack Media acquisition

Scientific GamesScientific Games is in line of expanding its portfolio and in that terms they proceeded in the acquisition of Spicerack Media. Spicerack which is now the new subsidiary of Scientific Games, was founded in 2007 and is based in Tennessee. Spicerack's games are available on Facebook, Amazon.com, the Apple app store and Android app on Google play, with the company’s greatest success being the product Bingo Showdown. Scientific Games mostly want to expand its business in the mobile gaming sector and also wants to make its existing portfolio of social casino games even bigger and better.

Barry Cottle, who is the Chief Executive at SG Interactive, commented on the partnership between the two sides: «We are excited by the addition of Spicerack's talented team and complementary nature of their successful bingo game offering to our expanding portfolio of rapidly growing social casino apps. The acquisition will be immediately accretive and provide additional momentum in the mobile gaming space, as we look to exceed players' expectations of exciting and engaging gaming entertainment experiences.».
