Sky Betting sets sight in German market

Sky Betting is a really up and coming bookmaker in the United Kingdom, but this is not enough, since the company’s governance has already created a plan that will bring an international expansion for the bookmaker. According to this plan, the next step for Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) is to get in the German market and in this direction is already looking for new talent to join its Munich office. The last few days the bookmaker has been recruiting a great number of employees, who will be managed by Jochen Weiner, Sky Bet Deutschland Managing Director.

SB&G CEO Richard Flint commented on the new project: « We are really excited about the opportunity available within the German market. These new hires will allow us to press ahead with our plans to launch there later this year. The fact that we are in a position to do so, so soon after looking into the market, is a testament to our international team and the positive relationship they have developed with Sky Deutschland.», while Managing Director Weiner stated: «Since joining I’ve been impressed with the way colleagues have pulled together to get us ready to launch a real money product so quickly. There is clearly a healthy market in Germany and we look forward to entering it soon».
